The Academia Peregrina de Letras's logo was designed and created by the illustrator, designer, writer and pilgrim Júlio Sander, himself an Academic.
An open book displays a path drawn by a walking stick/pencil, showing the interaction between walking and literature. This interaction is also represented by the footprint of a boot in the Sun at the dawn of a new day, on the day that arises from the pilgrim's transformation through literature and/or walking (elements of transformation). A footprint follows the arrow, as appropriate on a walk!
The initials in rustic letters symbolize manual, individual, personal work, like a book, like a walk!
The soft tones of the colors contrast strongly with the concept of the effort required on a walk, reinforcing the idea that the Academy is just beginning and should mature.
The entire concept keeps the freshness of the author's grandson, the young Augusto, who contributed decisively to its elaboration.
